National Information Security Framework (RNSI)
The National Information Security Framework (RNSI) aims to establish governance and a common approach to information security within companies and organizations. The RNSI defines the minimum security requirements to manage, resist and reduce the impact of threats that may arise.
It presents the security controls and best practices to be adopted by public bodies, while focusing on training and raising user awareness of the risks involved, and the periodic assessment of controls to ensure continued satisfaction of security requirements and compliance with regulatory obligations. Algerian Cyber Defense Initiatives
Algeria’s cyber defense initiatives are focused on enhancing resilience within national institutions and critical infrastructures. A key component of this strategy is the “National Cyber Security Strategy,” which emphasizes safeguarding sensitive state systems from growing cyber threats. The approach includes leveraging local expertise, collaborating across civil and military sectors, and strengthening infrastructure, software, and national content to maintain sovereignty in cyberspace.
This strategy reflects the government’s focus on cybersecurity as essential to national security, with concerted efforts aimed at building capacity, fostering public-private partnerships, and ensuring collaboration with international allies. Res Militaris Al Defaiya
